This hand-crafted observation nest has a neatly fitting roof that can be lifted for viewing to see what is happening inside the three nesting tunnels.
Children can watch bee larvae busy eating pollen, develop through the summer and fall, spin their cocoons, and hibernate during the winter.
LOOK inside the nest during the spring and summer, by briefly lifting up the roof. Bees will not be disturbed when opening the nest for short periods of time.

You can monitor successful nesting and follow the bees progress through development.
